That's weird, cause that's what I was thinking. I was like "I really want to like this song, but the singer's voice is too feminine." The song rocked, he even got deep with some screams, but yeah....too high pitched.

Lol, yeah. I agree. I wouldn't pay either. I troll youtube looking for **** and they were the first ok band I came across in over a half hour. I also cam across this band with a hot lead singer:

YouTube - Sleeping With Sirens - If I'm James Dean, Then You're Audrey Hepburn (Video)

....but then realized it was a guy and threw up a little

      Ah much better.
Concert quality music is only good when you're present at the concert.

Yeah, like recording and stuff? **** gets expensive. Also, ever hear of these guys?

YouTube - I, Artificial - Eyedentical (New with lyrics!) [2010]

I wouldn't worry, keep a small stash that you know will sell and when demand ramps up adjust accordingly. The more shows you do the more fans you will get and the more shirts you will sell. You guys are good (see what I did thar?) and you play a style of music that can appeal to multiple genre's. You'll enjoy some fame, I am sure of it.

I'm sure they will do fine, just start advertising in the shoutbox. You are corrupt Staff, you can do this!

If it is I will I can live with it. I'll just keep it out of the dryer, and hell yeah I will :)

Good. Call me weird but I hate 100% cotton shirts. The shrink so much.

Sweeeeeet, do you know if it's a cotton shirt?

I know. That wasn't so much pointed at you as it is at others that I've only seen on front page posts or their buddies map threads.

I'm just not happy with what forgehub has become. Back when I joined the site, very early on I somehow got in a game with Shock and Lights and a bunch of other staff at the time. I thought it was cool as hell. But now for whatever reason, a lot of the staff don't play with the unknowns unless they have to.
You and Sarge are definately some of the few that still play with randoms, others don't do it quite as much but still do on occasion and then there are those that only seem interested if it's people they know and have played with for some years.

and again it's back to this being the way it has always been. if I wasn't doing this there'd be no quantifiable way to account for what I do. Shock knows all the work I do but nobody else does (not that I care) but for the sake of appearance and helping out I write.

my stance on moderating is to do work when required by context, not by rules, dictation, etc. if the situation calls for a verbal warning, harsh or otherwise, that isn't quantifiable, but it's still qualitative work.

and that wouldn't change anything. it'd still be "too little to go around" and even worse because there'd be ASSIGNED work, which means splitting up what's currently available as opposed to just doing work I bring in or doing work that hasn't been/can't be done by anyone else.

this current way = more work going to the journos than me joining the ranks officially.

I'm saying, this is what I have always done, since before anyone currently on staff joined the ranks. Your initial point was to switch to journo to make up for it, which wouldn't solve anything.

this is what I do though, I've never strictly been a mod or any position really. This is the only quantifiable "work" I do. Everything else is either behind the scenes or too rare (albeit important) to take attention. I only infract when I'm dealing with stuff that deserves permanent infractions. Verbal warnings are everywhere. Those aren't "seen" in the sense that they system recognizes.

I'm a 36 year old dude that has always been in love with Halo. I was one of Halo 3's most active forgers, and have had several maps featured on Forgehub, as well as had a map in Halo 3 matchmaking rotation. These days, I mostly just forge for relaxation and for something to play with my personal friends when we can get together.
