LOL... I've never liked reading. ever. Writing is another matter entirely.

And yes I agree having read certain stories cetainly boosts ones ability to discuss intellectual matters or whatever, but I usually know the plot lines and intricacies of a story just from word-of-mouth or research.

And hamlet, my god, I loved that. We haveta do presentations for it, and I told my teacher that I was going to "wing it" and he was like "yeah you're pretty good at that"...that piece is so easy to pick apart and analyze. aahhhh

Everytime I'm getting into a book (which is rare since I usually abandon them about halfway through) something disrupts my enjoyment. When I was reading "A Prayer for Owen Meany" my friend spoiled it for me. When I was reading what I thought was going to by my favorite book, my baby sister tore a page out (haven't finished it since).
