Yeah, I probably just leapt on it as a comment since I'm generally pretty bitter about those who do reference it every time they play. To be honest, strictly on terms of you and I, you probably have more right to complain about host based on our times playing together XD. You'll be happy to know that the connection at my new place doesn't seem to grab me host nearly as much, only getting half of the 3mb upload I'm supposed to get. Gotta call Virgin and follow them up so I can reclaim my throne, and watch the bitching from US kids ensue ;).

Why do people always talk about 'british hosts' like it isn't just as bad for us when positions are reversed? I know the average upload over here is worse, but for the vast majority of people I know who actually use their connections to play Halo, they have uploads on par with US players, and actually the majority of US players I talk to have pretty atrocious uploads and pings.
