To be frank, I agree about how debates often go, it's my only reservation on the matter. As far as citing sources go, that's a more pertinent rule where debates concerning facts are concerned, with stuff like this which is pretty much solely abstract, there's not really much that can be cited, and so it's fair enough to disregard this rule as long as standards are maintained in other senses.

I don't think I'll start it now though, I'm pretty knackered and would want to come at it with a clear head. Though I would like to say thanks for your general attitude, it's thoroughly refreshing to see, and displays the kind of coolheaded thinking I only wish I could claim too in my current, tired, hotheaded state :P.

Indeed, I think it probably would be best to continue this elsewhere, in the vein of keeping the thread down to actual CnC, though I'm mindful of the fact that it was indeed me who got this whole thing started. For that I really should apologise, and thank you for keeping a clear head and making that comment about doing things elsewhere.
