Actually the vast majority of the Pros whose set ups I've seen play at 3, quite often 4. Mackeo plays 5 and is thought of as a bit whacky as a result :P.

And yeah, I think he was in a game for a bit once, I definitely remember the name. I had no idea he was that good though, geez. And it's funny, but I don't really know anyone of a casual nature like that. Jack and Adam like their random mini games quite often, but they still prefer proper Halo much more. As far as everyone I know is concerned, if you're serious enough to be doing online stuff like MM and Customs instead of just dropping in to campaign now and again, then a BR is your best friend.

Apart from Jack there are a couple. Stefan and Adam (both friends from University) are both quite in to it. Adam was one that me and Jack converted in the first year of Uni lol, but Stefan was a Halo 2 vet and was my Halo mentor from the start of Halo 3 onwards. It was with him that I got my 44 in Dubs, but he stopped playing as much around then, he really isn't in to it as much now which sucks. But I'm living with him next year, so I'll change that :P.

My friend Alex also seems to be getting in to it more and more. He's a pretty hardcore TF2 fan, always rejected Halo when we became friends. But me playing it all the time seems to have worn him down, he joins in more and more, does pretty good as well. He was going as high as +9 today, which shows a good instinctive talent. Now I just have to get him to switch over from TF2 :P.

Thanks man, I really feel as if my BR has come along recently. Switching down to five has done me more good than I could possibly have imagined, with my Snipes as well. As far as playing with friends over, it feels natural tbh. I started playing Halo CE with my friends on splitscreen, and went on with splitscreen 1v1s with the infamous Jack (lol) for ages. Even when I switched to Halo 3 I started off playing mostly social with guests as my friends didn't have accounts.

Splitscreen feels natural, so playing with others in the room almost feels more natural, even if they're not playing. I used to get a little nervous being watched, but once I got decent enough to impress noobs then it was fine :P.

Idk, I generally go all out, I like winning :P. Tbh 1v1's have never been my strength like I said, but I've noticed that I've been getting a lot better at them recently.

Lol what are you talking about? You always win our 1v1's. But that shiz was tight, my mate was watching and he agreed, said it was very entertaining.
