Yeah, that's how I understood it when it came out. As always this isn't bible truth on the matter, I'm still a little out of the loop on the more detailed specifics of Staff runnings since I retired down to Guardian, but it would seem to be supported by what happened as well. Either way, not receiving an answer to an honest query is a little unfair, would have been nice if the mods involved could have answered this for sure, but hope this helps sort it out.

Permanent infractions are there to give a lasting mark against people who spam repeatedly whilst just staying on this side of a perma-ban. Not to sound harsh here, but you've spammed more than your fair share in your time here, and so a permanent infraction was given in the first instance due to your past offences, and the fact that you really should have learned what's cool and what's not by that point.

...As you said, repeated offense, and I still don't quite get your misunderstanding here. Surely you realise that you've got a long and thick history of spam, and the permanent infraction was given (the first one) to make the point that it's no longer possible to stay under the warned/banned point limits whilst continuing to spam by waiting until points have expired to continue spamming.

I'm not trying to sound harsh here, honestly, but I really can't see where your objection to this perm infraction is coming from. Repeated offenses applies as an umbrella term to spam in general, and the fact that this example was a spam thread as opposed to spam posts does not act as a get-out clause. Again, not to sound harsh, but you must know the rules by now, you even quote them at me, so how can you not think that this extended habit of spam was not going to get perm infracted when you did it again?
