For you edification: "layout" can mean anything from formatting of the text, to formatting of the content, to basic sentence syntax. It's a general term that is usually accompanied by a qualifying word that clarifies the exact nature of the comment.

Furthermore, while saying something is "ugly" or whatever without qualification is okay when it comes to any type of art, as that is a clearly subjective form, it is not the case when dealing with informative work, as the direct purpose of the piece is to spread knowledge as easily and as clearly as possible. When you have a concern with such a piece, it only hinders the pursuit of spreading whatever knowledge is in the document if you have no "reason" for saying what's wrong with it. It only spreads confusion and second-guessing that is otherwise unnecessary.

Oh no. You've got me all wrong here. I am 100% grateful that you think the layout is awkward. That comment really helped me figure out what part of the thread YOU thought should be fixed.
