Hello everyone, i'm Agent Zero85. If you have a map, and need someone to help test it, look no further, because Zero is your savior. We test any type of map that covers more than a 4v4. We are pretty fresh but this will be a weekly thing. Now, i will cut to the chase, we test lobbies fit for 8v8s, if your map plays well as a 5v5, or 6v6, we are able to accommodate for that later on when the lobby starts dieing, this isn't convenient for some, but we will post all feedback to this thread after the lobby. We host the lobbies every Saturday, around 5:00pm CST. We stop when we run out of players. We mainly do BTB, but do infection on the side. Glad to see someone trying to get a new BTB lobby started! I hope it gets legs. If you need help with anything holler at me. Now I don't mean to hijack your thread but just let me take a moment here to clarify a few things since you mentioned UCC and your experiences: -UCC is my gaming brand and one of the things I do with it is organize a "tournament-play" style testing lobby for 4v4 core maps (using players and teams I sponsor) *So thats the "UCC lobby." -ATN (the Alliance Testing Network) is a structured QA pipeline that I helped create with a couple of other lobby hosts wherein we have organized our lobbies and standardized the flow of info and feedback between ourselves (and made it public) so that forgers have a nice guided tour from cool idea to awesome core map. *The UCC lobby is part of ATN. -The greenlight process that we use in ATN is simply a way to identify if a map has or has not had enough testing by enough different lobbies (and if the forger has acted on enough of the feedback they receive therein) that its ready for the polish and fine-tuning that we can provide with a dedicated lobby of higher-level competitive teams (in the UCC lobby). -The UCC lobby tests 4v4 core maps only. So there is no way for an 8v8 or even a 6v6 to be tested in the UCC lobby because its a 4v4 lobby. (we test btb elsewhere- read on!) -And finally- there is no way to test in the UCC lobby except to go through ATN's greenlight process. That said ANY map that does progress through the greenlight process will get a date for UCC testing. -YES We do have a path for BTB maps to take where they can spend time in a core lobby before potentially being run in a super sweaty, sometimes featuring pros, lobby. How it works is you test your BTB map in Max Extra's Forged Friday lobby. Once his lobby is psyched on it (and that will take more than a single session, probably several) then Max will put it on a list for the lengend who is MATCLAN. If matty mcclan likes your map he will run it in his lobby and let me tell you the sweat in there could drown an elephant (eww.) *MATCLAN takes maps from the list we give him into his lobby at his own discretion Watching good kids rock your map is invaluable. That said this BTB QA isn't nearly as thorough as what ATN does for 4v4. We just don't yet have the resources (read: BTB testing lobbies...) to set it up the way we have for 4v4's. And that's why I'm excited that you are doing this. And if this lobby is something you think you can sustain then you should reach out to me on PM so we can talk about how ATN and UCC can support your efforts. Good luck homie!
Thanks, i must say your comment is more thorough than this thread, lol, i will be polishing this thread, and if nobody decides to enter maps, ill just find some recently submitted maps and play those. And to answer your indirect question, yes i do plan to sustain this for a very long time, i felt like there wasn't a BTB testing environment here on the forums besides Max's lobby, so why not double the feedback ey.
I plan on submitting mine. However i doubt 8v8 will be optimal. Forge.worlds TNT the other night had 9 players and most people were crying "this is big. BTB big." RPAL thought 5v5 was the sweet spot. So until 8v8 happens..i won't know. Anything you'd like us to know: This map is still in need of testing. Im not positive on spawns & weapons placements. The current vibe is that people like it. It transports them to the locale properly and there were no glaring complaints about design. So thats a good start but its a very wacky assym.

I've got a few BTB maps in the works. Infection kinda put everything on hold but I'll definitely throw you some maps when I finish them up. Trying to get vehicles back in BTB cus' walking is for suckers.
BTBs are always fun to make, especially if you throw vehicles into the mix, good luck on your maps and ill be waiting .
