I'm rather proud of this one. Keep in mind that this is my third signature! Zeratul is the villain from StarCraft. I thought I would make this to honor this old game! (1990's) The artwork is from the concept art section of the second game.

This is the very first time using brushes. It really helps once you learn to use them!

Well, the render is good. It needs to blend a bit more, and the lighting needs work. The background could use some improvement as well. Change the font and the text color, it doesn't look so good. It is a nice signature though, keep working at it (especially on blending and lighting) and this signature could turn out really well.

I've Updated the original post with my second version. I attempted adding a shadow to the main render. Also the green C4D's have been intensified to give it that alien feel. I added lighting to go along with the shadow. It is green as if his arm enhancement is lighting up his face.

Come on guys. Can I get some more CNC. This is one of my first serious sigs. I need to learn what I could do better! Plus i got rid of that GOD AWFUL text. I won't try text anymore till I can get some tips!

V2 is much better than V1. I still think that the lighting could be improved, probably by adding a white-to-black gradient set on "Darken" overtop. That would create a light left side that gradually becomes dark on the right. The blending is much better in V2 as well, and removing the text made it look way better.

You make me wish rep was still around. You post two different CnC for both my versions when nobody else does inbetween. I'll look into that gradient. The lighting didn't really change much now that I look at it more critically. Good job Kratous. I'll have to return the favor on your wallpaper!

First, Zeratul is not a villain, second he's not a villain. Okay with that clear.
As Kratos stated, needs better blending, looks like you stuck a render over some C4Ds or something. Try to make the render flow with the background and create some depth.

Yeah I guess it depends from who's perspective you're looking at. But he's never portrayed as a villain, just a dark templar you're trying to find.

Yeah hes not a villain in starcraft. Anyways, about the sig, you need more blending. As in your render needs to be more of a part of the image. It looks like it was just placed on top as of now. Additionally, the starcraft font really isnt very good so i wouldnt suggest using it. Imo blending is really your biggest problem here. And the background is a little too consistent and static. Make it more dynamic.
