I just want to confirm that I'm not the only one that has been having this issue playing back youtube videos that are posted in the appropriate spot on map threads. It seems to be an odd SSL issue. Normal embedded videos work fine. As you can see in the image below, it appears that the server attempts to get a secure link, fails, attempts to get an insecure link, and then gets blocked. It's almost like the site is stripping the security. My video link also suffers the same issue, so I checked it to confirm that I was using a proper https link from Youtube, and I was. You will also notice when viewing any map post with a properly posted youtube link, the HTTPS on the address bar will grey out. This doesn't happen on any other page from what I can tell. I'm no web dev so this is all I have from my limited knowledge.
This does seem to be a problem, thanks for notifying us. For now, make sure when viewing a map thread that "Show all content" for your browser is selected, and that should resolve the problem temporarily.
Thanks for lettings us know. I was unaware of this issue until stumbling upon it myself just now. We'll make sure to get this resolved soon.
Youtube videos are now working on the map pages. Thanks again for pointing this out, next time feel free to shoot me a PM so we can fix it faster.
No worries. I posted it to the forum in hopes of determining if it was a personal issue or a forum issue. With all the malware protection, virus protection, and adblocking, it could honestly just have been me. Thanks for fixing that up.
