Mine is Recreational. I don't think it matters, most people seem to put 'Underground', but yeah, I guess I'm the minority. Your zone is either: Recreational, Pro, Family or Underground. Vote your one in the poll, I want to see the most popular.
I have recreational set as mine, but as far as I can tell it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, or I just don't care about what it does differently.
I change it alot depending on what game I'm playing. If I'm playing halo i play on underground because people who think they're pro pick pro when they usually aren't, and anything else has little kids playing who also aren't very good. Underground just has a lot of swearing people that I can mute, but they're good, so it doesn't matter.
Recreational FTW! I think gaming is for fun, no matter how you get it. I think of Pro as in MLG Pro, so I try to stay away from that. Because we all know that most of us arent anywhere close as to how good MLG Pro teams are.
I had it on recreational for a long time when i first got my xbox, but now i play so competitively that i switched it to pro. not to say that i'm the best, because i'm definitely not, but i usually don't settle for less than first or a win.
As do I But these replies have raised a few more questions for me: - Does your gamer zone actually affect who you get partnered with in MM? - And who voted "Family"? Oh, wait, actually I can check. It's a public poll. No-one's owned up to it nonetheless...
Recreation I love to play games, but not to take them too seriously. I have fun, chat to friends and own - all at the same time.
I don't think the gamer zone affects who you play with at all. Usually when i'm in matchmaking i check out people fileshares and gamertags, i've played with people from all different gamerzones.
I believe so also, in Halo 3 it doesn't depend on what gamerzone your in. I think when the 360 first came out they probably had big plans with gamerzones, but I think over time it just faded away.
Im a recreational guy. I heard your gaming zone has something to do with the people who you playy with online. So basically, if you have your gaming zone on pro, you'll mostly be matched up with other players whos gaming zone is pro. Im not really sure about it. I tried experimenting but it doesn't seems like it macthes you with all pro gaming zoners.
I pro. I'm a little competitive, and really good at gaming. Sure I play to have fun, but whats the fun in losing? I don't actually get upset when I lose, but I always go for the win.
