fallout 3 i mean come on the shooting mechanics suck in a shooting game.....basicly oblivion with guns
GoW2. It's a good game and all, but the only change was the storyline, a few weapons, and the graphics were juiced up a bit.
TNA iMPACT!: Dear god, this has to be the worst wrestling game I have ever played. Being the big TNA fan that I am, I was very excited for this game. On my birthday I got it, started it up and then...... WTF. Seriously it's nothing like wrestling, no disqualifications, only weapon is a chair, and the way to break out of a pin is retarded hitting the analog left and right until some bar fulls half the time the control jams. Midway shouldn't have been chosen to make the game, they are bankrupt and there is too much Mortal Kombat influence. GTA IV: This game was very exciting at first.... until it became like the rest. Same missions and got quite repetetive. I don't hate it I just didn't get what i was expecting. All those Russian accents got annoying over-time aswell. Fable 2: Fable 2 was a good game at first but it just didn't offer something that made me want to keep playing and the only real exciting parts are near the end. The ending was terrible... one shot kill WTF
My biggest disappointment was definitely Fable 2. The game itself and how it played was excellent. It was fun and very addicting. The problem I had with it was how long the game lasted. I bought it and three days later I had beaten it. I was very disappointed in it.
what? yes, they were continuing the story. what would you like them to do? you could say the exact same about the halo series.
Call of Duty: World at War: I didn't have particularly high hopes to begin with, knowing that it was Treyarch at the helm of the latest installment of the CoD franchise, however, my faint hope in the game was crushed. The weapons are unsatisfying to use. The multi-player is sub-par. Don't even get me started on the Campaign mode on Veteran trying to get all the achievements... Overall, just a very disappointing game after the triumph that was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
I would have to say the game I was most disappointed about in 2008 was Far Cry 2. I loved the map creating thing and all. But the gameplay itself was the disappointing part. Nobody played the online multiplayer, and the campaign was repetitive and slow. The graphics weren't that immpressive, and I just didn't get into the game.
