I seriously doubt it caps at 500k.

Once i've hit the grade of captain, i'll be at 200k savings. Thats the 11th rank. There are still 11 more to go (at this moment, whats the stop them adding more?). Each level is costing 66k, and it'l only go up from here.

Even if it stoppd directly at 66k, i'll be about 860k by the time I reached max rank. The amount it requires you to get seems to double every now and then (warrent officer grade 2 was 33k)

I haven't played multiplayer yet. I assume you just get ranks by playing? Winning etc.

The best way to earn cR seems to be switching up your game play and spreading it across all game types. Considering that commendations are broken down between Campaign, Matchmaking, and Firefight... those are the things that boost your cR the most. I played one match of Invasion on Spire yesterday, played horribly because I had no idea where I was or what I was doing... yet had a couple of low tier commendations achieved and they helped boost my cR.

is it just me or did they rebalance the way credits are given out? I seem to be getting a lot for for completing slayer games.

Turns out I indeed stand corrected. Captain to captain grade 1 is only 23k, less than every single level of warrent officer. I appologise for the way I spoke earlier, it just didn't seem believable :)

I havn't seen any change in the credit system, seems about average.

The best way to get Credits: Matchmaking>Score Attack>Gruntpocalypse on Courtyard>Camp near the base and get all headshots

I get at least 1500 Credits each game.

I know one way that will really help you boost up your credits. It may be very cheap and boring, and some people might not like you for doing it. But it isn't modding and requires one tampering of the game or console. Here's a tut.

    1. Start a campaign on normal, level is ONI sword base. Must have the skull cowbell and thunderstorm

    2. Run up the stairs, kill the elite, and run past everyone else until you get in a little cave thingy.

    3. Grab the target locater next to the armor lock, now wait behind some cover until you get a checkpoint.

    4. Now use the target locater blast right in the center, hopefully you'll receive a killionare (10 kills) and about 100 credits.

    5. Now quickly right after you get your medals restart to last save, now you can keep doing this very, very quickly. Earning you tons of credits.

This method is very good earning you commendations like:

Splash Damage: Kill an enemy with a heavy weapon
    Walking Tank: earn a multikill
SpecOps: Kill a spec-op type enemy (only with thunderstorm skull on)

Only one draw back to this method is after a little bit you start to get only 50-60 credits a blast, also approx. after you get a onyx commendation (usually Splash Damage) you'll start to get around 12 credits. =( After that happens you'll have to rely on other commendations to get a bunch of credits. Although if you do other Campaign missions or matchmaking it might go back to the 100 credits a round after a few days, will have to test it tomorrow.

I did this trick for about an hour or two and here you can see my commendations I got.
