Alright, being a New Yorker, and a huge Yankee Fan, I decided to make a sig of the greatest Stadium in sports, the Cathedral of Baseball, the House that Ruth Built... Yankee Stadium. There are a few versions and stuff... and I DID go for a simplistic look, so when you see the Original stock, it doesn't look like I did TOO much, but w/e. Maybe not the greatest sig, but I think it is a good tribute, and I love it... Anyway... Here is an early version of the sig... just thought I'd post because I think it doesn't look too bad as is here... And now here I have two versions, one lighter than the other and one much / somewhat darker... Lighter Version: Darker Version: And here is the stock. Why I really love this sig, is because the picture used was a picture I took this past summer, during my final moments in Yankee Stadium. I was on the field, and it was pretty awesome... anyway, here is the pic I took, which I recently sent to my computer... and was my inspiration lol... Btw, that is the new Yankee Stadium, in the top right hand corner, above the facade. Can't wait til opening day '09... XD
I'm a sox fan, so it's hard for me to say i like it, but if i had to choose one, it would be the third one. Oh, and Fenway is better : P [edit] fine, i guess i should CnC. Really like the depth, and i like what you did with the colors in the third one. That lighting effect you used in the top left hand corner is interesting.
FFFFUUUUUUUUUUU And no it is not. I'm not saying that from a "I hate Boston" Standpoint (which I do, but not in this case) But that Yankee Stadium was the most historical stadium in baseball. Home to 37 world series played, 26 won, 3 Pope visits, dozens of historical boxing matches, Home to the NY Giants for a little while, Home of some of teh greatest players to ever play, as In Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Yogi Berra, etc... list is endless... It really is the greatest, which is why it is called the Cathedral of Baseball. Fenway has not nearly anything like that. Though I've been to Fenway, sat on Green monster, etc. It's nice, but not as historically great as Yankee Stadium. EDIT: And thanks for CnC XD I like the light effect specifically too lol XD
Thanks lol... Everyone who has seen this has said somehting like that... "I like Football" "**** sports" "Baseball sucks" "Go Red Sox!" lol...
To tell you the truth I don't like how the lighting disdorts the stadium. Yankee Stadium is always seen as a bright place where people go to have fun and enjoy the game. The effect on the pic of Ruth and the text I like but i would keep the original stocks color the same. XD
