Note to the mods, if this is in the wrong section then please move this please.

Yeh, my xbox finally broke, well last week but I was too lazy to do anything about it till now. Well I haven't seen this problem before because it's not red rings or crashing. My warranty ran out a month ago and the 360 has lasted a year and the free warranty only works for red rings.

When I turn on my 360 all I see is white dots all over the screen in a gridlike pattern. Before it broke, all the colors were cel shaded like a cartoon or windwaker. Halo + windwaker, sounds weird but when I played it, it was stranger.

So if anyone knows how to fix it or anything then tell me. Or should I just send it in and pay to repair it although a quick cheap method is best because Fable II is just about to come out :(

Yeah, your video card sounds messed up. Make sure all the A.V. cables are in properly, though. And make sure some of the settings didn't get messed with. If none of that works, then your video card = fail.

Yeh, I figured that it was the video card when I tried using my friends cable and it didn't work. Ah well, I guess I'm just going to have to pay to fix it at MS.

    Same thing happened to me.

Just send it in for repair. I know it costs but its the best option in my opinion. They renew your warranty too.

Well, the RRoD warranty lasts for 3 years. So, if you wanted you could cause the RRoD to happen and send it in for free.

What you do, is wrap your 360 in about 2-3 towels (without your hard drive) and turn it on. It should only take about 15-30 mins, and then your 360 should have to RRoD and you can send it in for free. You can just send it in if you want and get the warranty renewed, but this is the exact same thing that happened to me. I just did the towel trick and got it there and back within about 5 days. I live in Texas, so I'm lucky. good luck with your problem
