You really linked him to Google? Really?

The sig really isn't that great. The colors look weird and the background is very low quality.

I can't really tell that this was made in Photoshop at all, it looks more like it was made in paint.

Just to start, here are some things I would work on:

    - I think that the weird splotchy green and blue background could use a lot of work. Instead of weird green splotches, try using a simple gradient as a background, and possibly smudging it a bit until you think it looks good.

    - I don't understand the thin 1 pixel outline around where the Xbox originally was. It looks to me like you either painted over part of the Xbox or else you didn't do a very good job of rendering it/separating it from the background. In either case, you should try to use the pen tool or the lasso tool to make a better selection of the edges to avoid painting over or erasing part of the Xbox.

    - You used a green overlay or effect of some kind to change the coloring of the Xbox. The color is unapealing, so I would probably change that. Because this is your first sig, I wouldn't reccomend doing anything particularly advanced, so leaving the coloring alone might have been better.

    - The text isn't very good. Try to work on better placement, and use a different font (the current one doesn't look very good).

I think that if you look at some tutorials and keep working at it, you could make some great sigs. As a start, I reccomend looking at this great tutorial that Hells and Ice wrote. It teaches the basics of good sig making, and is pretty easy to understand IMO.
