There's gotta be some of you that are excited out of your ass for this. I know I am.
So what are your projections for the 32 teams?
Opinion on the Ivory Coast's captain out of commission due to a broken arm?
    Spain hauling ass?

America (lol) plays England on Saturday, that'll be a big game.

    My top 6 projection is:
    1) Spain
    2) Argentina
    3) Brazil
    4) Portugal
    5) Italy
    6) Netherlands

well about time someone started replying in this thread....

The US tied England! they even had a chance to win it. Josie altidore is gonna be a big game changer in the near future I believe. as for england... wayne rooney didn't really play as well as I was expecting.

Green, the american hero. Kind of wierd to think about if england hadn't lost three of their starters, they would have been a lot better.

England was trashing the US. I would say that Green would be is the US MVP for the match. US actually has a pretty good goalie, which is what saved them, while England has no good goalies, which is their biggest flaw. But yeah Spain is going to own everyone hard.

Germany played surprisingly well tonight, even against a poor 10 man austrailia and if tonight's performance is a sign of their form this tournament then they should reach the semis, at least.

Dissapointing result for england but would have been different had rob green not slipped up, should still be easy to coast past Algeria and Slovenia who both looked pedestrian today.

My pick for tomorrow will be holland vs denmark, holland are likely to go far if players like van persie are on form.

I'm absolutely loving the world cup, it can only get better :D

I know they played a great game but I swear I saw Hitler walk on and slip a huge wad of hundreds in the Referee's pocket.

I'm backing England but I don't think we'll make it past the QF stage personally. I fancy Spain to win or the Netherlands and I'd be happy if the Netherlands won because for such a great team they haven't won anything big yet and this could be their shot.

The only thing I have to say about the England vs USA match is... that's one spill that America won't be angry about. :p

But to be honest I don't think I'm gonna follow the world cup, I'm not really interested in football.

Rumor is North Korea will play an 8-1-1 against Brazil.

I think that cuts the score down to 4-0 Brazil.

For Brazil to only beat North Korea by one was sad.

From the teams that have played so far, my pick is Germany. They completely outplayed the Australians. They passed well, they had plenty of scoring opportunities (capitalizing on a good number of them), and just altogether felt like the best team.

Germany was an underdog this year? What? All i've heard is how good they are gonna be.

And lol at the Australia goalie. He was a wussy when going in to punch the ball away for germany's second goal. He tried to go to the side of him and punch it when he should have at least collided.

    EDIT: Did spain seriously loose?

Wow Switzerland beat Spain, kinda sad even though Switzerland isn't that too bad of a team.
