I've been making a city style map that I made on a larger scale and with this I've ran into some problems and I thought I'd run them by you guys and see what suggestions the community has. This map is still needs a lot of work but it's starting to look good to me. I'm open to feedback and suggestions. I still need to add a lot of lights to the map and I haven't taken light bake off any objects. I wanted to see which items I should turn light bake off on and which have the higher priority. Framerate- I'm not very close to finishing and I'm at 1450+ on my object budget and I'm seeing some frame rate problems. I'm not sure if its the object or the lightmap budget. Should I lower the amount of objects or something? Tunnel- I tried to add a tunnel to this map to give it more dynamics and possibility for vehicles I used half cylinders to make it and it doesn't look very good and used a lot of objects and I'm thinking about taking it out. the tunnel does an "m" shape and I wonder if there would be a better way. Spawning- I'm planning on setting the spawns on the map and I'm kind of looking at suggestions on how to use the spawn volumes and the set the different priorities to avoid problems when testing. dark areas don't need light bake, especially enclosed/underground depending on sight lines and overall scale of the map, a 4-8 corner spawn volumes system might work well
