An excerpt from JSlayer's leaving blog: "I've also seen some pretty nasty things on this site. I know some completely underrated forgers on this site, who in my mind, deserve higher recognition. Some of these amazing forgers that I know left FH for the same reasons that I am leaving. This is by no means calling myself an amazing forger, but it was just an observation. Also, new members are treated TERRIBLY. Just awful. MeKool posted an aesthetic map called "My awesome spaceship xl-700" (something like that). After receiving some horrendous comments, I decided to step in and support him. I really didn't appreciate how no constructive criticism was received. People went crazy because he didn't "make his map properly." He didn't "conform to the 'guidelines.'" Why should there be set guidelines on how someone made his map? MeKool said he isn't the best forger, but he tried his best. Of course, on a site like this, "best" just isn't good enough. Forge gives us unlimited possibilities. Why limit it? "
Okay, whats the point of posting this here? But anyway I agree with this. If a n00b posts a map that is really awsome it gets buried away under the hundreds of maps that are posted almost daily by noobs. I can't really talk because I havn't posted a map (yet). But I sure know what you're talking about. Good look with the Thread.
