I can't have it so I've been playing on a tiny TV in my basement instead of my high def. fifty-two inch LCD in my upstairs. I have a fifty foot ethernet cable that, in theory, I could put through my ceiling and connect it to my Xbox. The only problem is it's about five feet too short to go where I need it to go. Is it possible to use two ethernet cables and a second gateway/router to get the connection to the box. If so would the two cables interfere with my connection speed?
It will work. I've done it myself a few times. I'm not sure how it effects the connection speed. If it doesn't it shouldn't effect it much but for my money, I'd still rather use only one.
hmm yes,this seems possible id say get another wirless G ($40) and have to or just by the one made for xbox by microssoft ($99)
I have a wireless one that is made by Microsoft. It works okay, but I'd day use the Ethernet cables. I don't think it would affect your connection.
Thanks all, I'm getting a gateway for Christmas. Can a mod lock this? It'd be pretty useful if I could lock it myself.
