    Infestation is a flood themed map I'm making.

    The design is based off of the mission "Cortana" in Halo 3

    It is a 4v4 set up for slayer, strongholds, and oddball.

    The current weapons set: (Always changeable, but I am avoiding promethean weapons.)
    -Carbine x1
    --Battle rifle x2
    -SMG x1
    --Storm rifle x1
    -Plasma pistol x1
    --Sword x1
    -SPNKR x1
    --Plasma grenade x4

    Looks incredible. The resemblance with 'Cortana' is spot on.

    Do you have a picture or a drawing of the layout?

    I absolutely loved playing on this map during the Forged Friday test. i think it played oddball rather well, even though the game type was slightly off(not your problem though). The aesthetics where great and spot on for what we have available to us right now in forge and if you dont mind im going to try and borrow some to put in to my map Solitude. i can really comment on cover and spawns because i had the oddball waypoint over my head so hiding was useless for most of the game. really great map. If you make any changes or want to see it tested again post it again and we would love to play it.

    Went through this one again and this time in slayer:
    • I felt like i was being flanked a ton but that could be due to the team sizes
    • I still love the look of this map and cant get over it
    • I like that the weapon pick ups seem to be organic, i didnt find my self running out to locate weapons to frequently if at all.

    I honestly dont know what else to add to this and would love to test once or twice more to make sure i really understand the map and can give the best feedback for it

    I played friday for the first time after hearing a lot of hype lol. It was awesome. Very organic and immersive feel to the cover and geometry. i want to do or at least see a 4v4 test but my first impression was that it was really good and yea the aesthetic is next level. I just played on it without really examining too closely for feedback so I don't really have any critiques unfortunately but I think you've got a great map here. might be time to get is sweaty bro.

    Map Layout / Flow
    I like the layout of the map, I think strongholds and FFA would be a lot of fun on it. I am curious if a team based objective game such as CTF would work well. ​

    Spawns
    I did not have any issues with spawning at all.
    Weapons / Power-ups
    I never got a chance to pickup a power weapon, I wasn't sure where they spawned because they were grabbed pretty quickly since it was 8v8. (Not really your fault) However, I think you should add a light under the pelican or something because I am not sure if anyone realized there was a rocket launcher there. Only just spotted it at the end only because I walked next to it.​

    Aesthetics / Lighting

    Just fantastic, you really thought outside the box on this one. You found a way to bring a flood map alive with just creative use of scripting rocks and other props.​

    UPDATE: Moving flood pods removed, they might have been causing frame rate issues. Extra small pods added for aesthetics. Changed tentacles to dead trees for aesthetics. Changed primitives texture to covenant. Fixed frame rate and did other small tweaks. Map now "Infestation 0.4"
