WIP - Death Star

    As with every new Halo, I remake the Death Star. This map is MOSTLY finished, up to the point where it needs some play-testing. I am not sure if I'm going to renew my Xbox live account, as 343i (Microsoft) has done nothing but piss me off with this game. (I'm done ranting)

    This is the Death Star while under construction like return of the jedi

    So with this new Death Star, I've reduced it to three floors:

    Top floor is the two Hangars
    Middle floor is the prisoner cell-block & bridge (where Obi wan kills tractor-beam power)
    Lower floor is loading dock and garbage room.

    The map is fairly symmetrical in layout, but a lot of the specific "rooms" are asymmetrical.

    I was built with 4v4 in mind, Slayer or One bomb. It is also set-up for FFA and One-flag.

    For different gametype settings, there are slight changes to the map:

    Slayer - has a man cannon that takes player from the bottom floor to the top.
    Flag/bomb - players can activate switch on bridge which will allow them access to the hornet located in the lower floor loading dock (attackers base). This allows players to fly outside the Death Star and enter from either hangar on the top floor.

    To enter the Defenders base, there are basically four ways:

    Enter left side
    Enter Right side
    Skill jumps off the bridge up to centre of defender base
    Take the hornet and fly outside the Death Star and re-enter in the Hangar

    I will include some photos of my older Death Stars in previous Halo games so you can see the improvements. They all have some of the same parts, but much different layouts.

    *Sorry the pics of the latest Deathstar look like crap, as I had to use my phone. I don't understand why the screenshots suck on this new Halo...

    Again, this map has never been tested. Was not designed to be a "matchmaking quality map"
    I just like making Death Star maps apparently.
