New map: Archive. Currently toying with weapon setups on this. Currently using Railgun and Active Camo. Built for double team, but I think it could support 4v4 comfortably. FFA could be great too. What do you think?
I'll post a walkaround video later once I've finalised spawns - hope to hold a testing live stream later tonight so will get some gameplay on it then. Appreciate you popping in though!
I've now swapped the railgun for a binary rifle. Far more interesting. Also made some adjustments to spawns.
After playtesting, I opened up the Binary Rifle spawn to allow more ways in from the outer ring. If anyone gets any playtesting on this let me know what you think. It works great for 4v4 too. As promised, a quick Walkthrough.
Triple post - further updates made. Added cover to main room (top-mid) Replaced Binary Rifle with SPNKR. Moved Camo to outside overhang. Moved shotgun to previous camo position.
Planning on downloading and checking this out - Theme looks like the Pegasus that should have been Anything in particular you're looking for feedback on?
I feel like you need a book/data aesthetic on the map. Like using that data-stream gobo, or some interesting pieces. It would fit the archive name a lot better, and the map already looks like a data-archive/library. You may also want to put a weapon or something on that outer-tree-ring area. Players would most likely go just from hall to hall, and that cool little balcony area wouldn't be used much
I keep moving weapons. Carbine and 2 x plasmas are outside, shotgun is now in the outside courtyard, which I've also made a lot wider, Camo is back in the tunnel, and SPNKR is the power weapon on map.
I've done a quick walkthrough vid - really want cleverer people than I to really tear this one apart! I can take it, honest.
