Found it https://flippa.com/2934452-4-video-game-websites-for-sale Dafuq. Thanks for letting us know Kajin, ya ****.
Ha, I thought you guys at least knew what was up. Thats a shame. Anyway, I've settled on a price with him and now I just need him to get back to me. Good things to come; I promise.
...hey Mods, got some ****ing news for you guys to get involved with damn quick. (not angry with you, happy you've shown an interest in the site, angry with the damn owner who started the auction 1 week ago and didn't tell a damn person on this forum about it)
I don't know why you feel you are entitled to that information. It's literally none of your business if Kajin sells or keeps the site. Literally. Sure, you can be upset as to the current state of affairs this place is in, and the neglect it's received- that's all understandable- but you, nor I, nor anyone else outside of the staff, is or ever should be entitled to that information. We have precisely nothing at stake in this site. You sound like an asshole right now. Sorry I'm not sorry.
Right, the members of a site centered around community interaction has no stake in how it is run or who is running it. And actually, we are entitled to that information just like any other company tells its employees or alerts its community when a change in leadership is made through press releases, internal memos, or a damn post somewhere. A "Hey guys, I can no longer bla bla bla. I'm putting the site up for auction if anyone here is interested" goes a long way and doesn't require much of an effort but shows a level of caring for the members of the very site being sold. What information do you think I'm asking for exactly? Knowing that the owner is no longer interested in keeping the site or supporting it is pretty important information to know IF YOU'RE ON THE SITE. Would have certainly explained the lack of tech support since the vBulletin upgrade and maybe led to all the staff not leaving because they saw no way forward for change. For a person with 7,448 posts and has been a member since 2008, has been a staff member, that answer shocks the hell out of me. You more than most people have a stake in this site. You have maps here, have had or still have friends here, you've spent years of your life here. But **** it, right? Who cares. I guess that's the viewpoint we're all taking now.
