We are officially one week out from the release of the Halo Infinite Forge Beta! I don’t know about y’all but I am really excited. Of course it is going to be awesome to explore the new features that have been added in and to potentially breathe some life into Halo Infinite’s bones (I can’t even find matches in ranked console anymore ☹) But I think what I am most excited about is this community potentially coming back to life (even if it’s just a little). Having a creative outlet that you can share with people is a really nice experience and to be perfectly honest I’ve missed having things like Max Extra’s Forged Friday custom lobbies. Seeing the things that the community cooks up, refining maps together, and playing rounds on a map you created is one of the Halo experiences I’ve been missing. To all the elder Spartans still poking around the forum, I am excited to see your Xbox status be “Online: In Forge” instead of “Offline: 5 years”. To all the new people wanting to plug into a community and explore Forge together, I can’t wait to have you teabag me on a crazy map you created during a custom’s night. We all probably love Halo here (I know I do) and might be a little frustrated with experience of Halo Infinite so far. But if I know Forge and this community, we are about to embark on a really fun journey together and I personally can’t wait! I hope you’re ready Spartan because in seven days it’s time to Forge baby!!!
I'm really excited, especially for scaling & the high object count. Really looking forward to starting on my 2/3 scale Star Destroyer. It'll be 4x the size of my H5 Star Destroyer. I also have a bunch of other things I want to Forge, like Melee Island from The Secret of Monkey Island.
.... xbox status updated... ... beep beep... ...ONLINE!!!... Hah. Im so stoked for everything! And definitely for our old community to rise again. I know our old community, and new, can bring some badazz content to halo infinite! I miss the Max Extra custom parties for sure! Cant wait to get that goin again!.. ill do my best to create somethin but ive been pretty busy lately so wont be around as much as before but ill do what i can to cook up somethin sweet!
