Hey guys I have been working on my Halo 3 Firefight: Heroic Map Pack for about...like 4 months or something, so im really desperate for something new. The map pack should hopefully be up with about 2 weeks? maybe? but I wont be working on the second map pack for a month or so because honestly its fun and all but when you have played the same games for like 4 months straight they get a little bit boring...So basically I have a few ideas for my next project or two before I get started on that second map pack. Problem is I dont know which one to do so I thought I would let you guys pick rather then me just going "well this one looks like it wouldnt be to hard!" So lets get started... 1. Name: Radiati on Leak (see what I did there?) Gametype: Infection Map: Sandbox (crypt) Description: The map is suppose to seem slightly bioshock-esque because it uses lights throughout the map with interesting arcitecture. Basically the map will be rather dark but by using red and blue collums (dunno how to spell it -_-) and the red and blue lights as well as a few kill balls, it will create a neon-ish light city! The lights will be used to show points of interest like walls and doors. The map will also feature vending machines. It was quite awile ago but there was a map that used vending machines where you would throw a grenade and it would blow up a fusion coil, giving you an equipment. Im expanding on it by making it that you shoot a fusion coil that gives you a weapon (if its a red machine) or a grenade/equipment (if its a blue machine) now the fact that you just shoot it seems less interesting but there will be like 16 or so machines instead of 2 so it makes a difference. Some will have flamethrowers while others will have a magnum. The normal zombies are more like traditional zombies but the ones who get infected are not as irradiated yet, so they can still think to pick up a gun, meaning that things get harder as you go. The game also will have health packs. Basically it incorparates alot of ideas people have made into their maps, but they usually dont put it all together so I would still consider this pretty original. Lastly there is a time limit which is very long, but theres also a life limit of 10 lives so you have to actually kill the zombies, not hide from them! 2. Name: Left 2 Die Gametype: infection Map: Sandbox (crypt) Description: This is basically Left 4 Dead with alot of things missing. Right off the bat its different because you need to set it so that theres only 2 humans, rest are zombies, on top of that I would make the zombies take like 30 seconds to come out, during that time they will be invulnerable with instant kill, and the other humans will spawn with them except 2, incase people forget to set it right. There is no special infected, only normal but theres like 14 versus you and a buddy, so it will be hell! You are in an open town, no point A to point B buissness, just straight up "kill all son's o b1tchs". It will either be timed, number of lives, or both. The humans get good ammo in the beginning but it never respawns and its only 2 of each weapon, except like a turret, thats one, and you have to break it. The zombies will be fairly easy to kill, so the weapons wont be to overpowering. There shouldnt be a moment when you think that you can take a break. Lastly the humans can take roughly 16 hits but they do not recharge their shields and they dont have overshields so they wont look all dumb like dat... 3. Name: 2012 on Deserted City v3 Gametype: infection Map: Ghost Town Description: This is actually a map I started about a year or so ago. I really liked how scary it was but it seemed a little hard. So I just really want to remake it completly with merging this time and make them spawn in a box in the beginning so you dont get, for lack of a better word, raped. The reason I want to remake it so badly is because alot of people found it to be scary and it didnt even rely on any effects at all! Making something scary in Halo 3 is an accievment, making something scary in halo 3 without the use of FX fillers is like a freaking medal of honour! Any way the gameplay is basically the end of WWIII was a nuclear holocaust, and now everyone that lived who was caught to close in it became zombies? the story doesnt matter that much, basically you have to hide from them by yourself or as a group, or fight them by yourself or as a group, its up to you. That was the idea from the beginning and I kinda messed it up in V2 so I wanna get it right this time. 4. Name: SWAT: 1 on Drug Raid Gametype: VIP Map: Sandbox (dont know what level, most likely crypt becuz its my favourite.) Description: This is the first part to a 5-6 part little mini campaigne thing! Basically you either player as a super bada$$ SWAT team who take on important missions in each campaing...mission, or you play as the people getting their butts kicked by them. Basically the swat team is stopping an underground drug market and they break into the place and shoot stuff up! Cover is very important as you arnt suppose to be some armor wearing spartan boy scout, your just a super awesome normal person. That being said the cover will be all aestetic, like overturned tables or boxes full of crack. That theme of aestetic stuff will be present in each map for this game. In this paticular one you will simply have to get to their main drug stash and then get out before it goes boom! 5. Name: WWIII: 1 on First Strike Gametype: Territories Map: Sandbox (Skybubble) Description: Similar to the one before this, it is part of a campaign, this one most likely being like 12 missions long. Its based on alot of conspiracy mombo jumbo, which I wont bored you with but basically theres two sides, the NWO, or New World Order (bad guys) who are a grouping of the world leaders who want to rule all of it, and the Rebellion (good guys) who are basically everyone else who banded together to take them down. This first mission is the Rebellion launching the first attack, via hornets. Basically they have to pilot people over till they can secure the first territory, which is really easy to get. After that they can unblock a tele allowing there guys to get on the mobile base that the NWO is using. They get inside and have to blow it up (capture the territory inside the base) The second territory inside will be really freaking hard to capture. Each game will be 4 rounds alowing each side an equal chance. There will also be armoury spawns for each team with teles so they can strategize easily.
