Ive been new to the site but i downloaded almost everyone's maps for h4 and i was wondering if anyone was working on a midship remake or heritic from h3?
i have a midship remake. if you want you can add me and ill give it to you. Its not made by me and is subpar but it plays like midship as far as sight line and such. you really need to edit spawning and random holes to play it thought and i havent gotten around to editing it
most people fail at remaking it because the pcs in forge are so limited that most people give up before they get too involved... I have seen 3 or 4 remakes and not one has been accurate. still good forged maps, just not accurate to the original...
Iv been planning on doing one using impact silo 1 would be a good sub for the "bubbles" on carbine side and I don't think it's people can't stay true to it it's just the lack of round objects ( which rocks sub for just fine ) that gets people
This is pretty much it. Because of piece constraints in Forge, Midship is very hard to remake. You can probably find at least two dozen midship look-alikes if you look closely, though. Simplex by Big Papa SaLoT (you may have heard of him, he often does stuff with MLG) might be a good place to start if you're looking for Midship-esque.
