There's a huge gap between anything a holder said in this thread (which by the way was indeed all in good fun, and mostly between people who know each other pretty well), and calling people "tryhard fags." I'm pretty sure you can see the difference. He basically walked into a friendly, light argument and dropped a nuclear bomb. For the record, I don't really care if you want to use toggle or not. I do get irritated with people who insist on playing motion tracker games and then crouch-walk everywhere, but like I already said, it's a legitimate tactic; it just gets on my nerves. I'm not the kind of person who ever talks **** in the lobby or even messages people about the way they play, but to speak bluntly just on this forum, I think playing that way diminishes your skill at the game. If you want to get better at Halo, that's not the way to go. But if you just want to own bad players in playlists with motion trackers, knock yourself out. Outside of this thread you'll never hear a word from me about it.
Forget what I said. I now use Hold cause it's useful in combat and allows for faster teabagging. Thanks for opening my eyes.
Not enough people do this. It's particularly useful on maps with complex lines of sight like Zealot. It can really help with getting LoS from landing to landing, and from landings to the opposite basement. I get kills on a lot of fleeing players using this tactic.
Yeah I was quite surprised that it's such a dead heat. Most people I know use hold, but I guess it makes sense that the division is so even with the opinions being put forward in this thread.
I've always thought of Toggle as been just as useful as Inverted. I use hold, With toggle if you get hit by anything while crouching you uncrouch. (You where likely moving so once you get hit you start running showing up on radar) Which makes stealth unreliable with toggle.
Actually 24-21, cus I finally took the time to fix my own vote. I decided I didn't care if someone raged.
Inverted is still wrong, because according to that picture, the X axis should also move in the opposite direction. Leave inverted to the flight sims where it belongs.
OHSHI- How did I never think of this argument before? I love you, gonna be rinsing my friend with this for weeks. Over: lols....
