I'm applying for a job at GameStop and I can't really figure out what to put in this field.

    VIDEO GAME/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
    Video game Systems:
    Game Software Knowledge:
    PC knowledge:

I'm over thinking everything and I won't let myself write down.

Video game Systems:Experience in all platforms.
    Game Software Knowledge:
I dont know how much you know about that...
PC knowledge: Experience in all platforms.

Hopefully, that helped however little. If you don't know much about the aformentioned subjects, do some research before you fill it out.

i was thinking something along the lines of

Video Game Systems: I know quite a bit about the 3 major consoles(360, PS3, Wii) and I try to stay up to date on these
Game Software Knowledge: (I have no clue what they're asking here. Do I keep up to date on the latest titles?)
PC Knowledge: I have an average to above average on PC but am not as knowledgeable as most.

I think software knowledge might be referring to either programming languages or something like engines (like Havoc or Unreal Engine).

either way, console gaming is easy, but make sure you know ALOT about PCs. Like, know what RAM is, know what GHZ is, be firmiliar with processors and graphic cards, etc. My advice would be to go to basically any non-mac computer company (because noone buys a mac for gaming, believe me) and look at what they offer on the PCs, then firmiliarize yourself with those products (like the NVidia blah and the Nvidia blather blather, the Intel Core 2 blah blah and the Intel blah, etc.)
