As Forgehub works to reassert its dominance in the forge world, we want to know...what kind of forge content do you want to see?

Featured Maps are obviously a necessity.
What about Forgehub Favorites? Forge guides/tutorials? Competitions? Community Customs? Something else?

Forge guides and tutorials would be great, especially for attracting new members once MCC is released.

Competitions were always fun, so thatd be a good inclusion. I remember I won the mythic map pack pre-release because I won a screenshot contest here, was a happy moment for me as a member. Stuff like that keeps people coming back and keeps people forging.

I would say only do Forge hub Favorites if the site gains a lot of popularity. With a smaller population, the same people will be winning every time. And there wont be as much diversity in the maps that become obvious contenders, and then winners. But with a larger populations, this is great for keeping people coming back, and being motivated to forge and share their work. Everyone likes to be competitive sometimes.

DEFINITELY do community customs. **** man I still remember partying up every saturday I think it was, on halo 3 with the community, and just playing customs for hours. So much fun. You didn't have to have a mic, but if you did I guarantee you'd be laughing most of the time. However, you will probably have to wait till the site gets more popularity and more customs are made before you can implement this as a reoccurring scheduled thing

I think another good angle to attack would be YouTube. Gaming Youtubers have soared in popularity over the past couple years, and I'm sure a Forgehub one would be great. You could have start-up MCC youtubers who are members here putting their videos on the channel, effectively promoting them, as well as having Forgehub's own videos, reviewing the featured map, a full recording of a community customs night, tutorials, etc, recorded by the staff or well known members. I believe there was a YouTube channel made for the site a couple years back, but it never really reached its full potential.

    Thats my two cents.

Forge guides and customs for sure. I'd really like for there to be an easier way to get our maps tested, so maybe a section dedicated to map testing lobbies.
