basically ill get to the point(note i may be wrong) i got a question which i hope it may be awnsered, what happened?to specify;everyone where waiting for halo reach claiming it was the best game in the world(or atleast i think so) they had bazillion of ideas to use but so far i´ve seen nothing.i may not have halo reach and posibly not know what im talking about...but,i see lots of maps theyre well made, yes they are.but...actually i dont really know how to explain this, anyways halo reach was supposed to be the big bomb.lack of comments start on forgehub and other websites. maps even with all the materials we have are basically the same.no new inspired ideas.just the same thing.people dont realize how reach may not become what we expected.most of the people i know play much more other games than halo reach,so: whats the reason?as i said before i dont have halo reach so thats why asking all of you a short understandable awnser. what happened to infection we had plenty of ideas didnt we?mathmaking,i´ve heard a lot of complaints.i really dont know if should buy it i really dont...is it really worth it it just doesnt feel to me like if it was halo it looks like a diffirent game.they´re is to many games coming out i cant decide...borderlands,halo,black ops, crackdown 2 which one? i may be saying thing i dont know so if i am please tell mme.i dont want people telling how ignorant i am by not knowing of games.(note i know little english and still try to learn, thank you all for reading this
Sorry. I can't make out much from the 3rd and 4th paragraph but I'll try to answer. Alot of maps are rip-offs because people are Lazy. Most people want to do whats been tried and has worked. For example cliffhanger is two bases with a central building with alot of rocks. Seems like Blood Gulch minus vehicles plus a random building in the middle. Infection was really messed up. Bungie had to remove some settings to make room for more stuff. The game is almost 10 gigabytes after all. If they had more settings it could easily go up to maybe 12 gigabytes or more. Most people only have 4 gigabyte or 20 gigabyte systems where I live. I am assuming that its the same elsewhere. btw I have a 120 GB system. The game would load too slowly unless you install it which there wouldn't be much space for. If you want to get a decent shooter choose your style. Sci-fi? Halo. Relistic? Call Of Duty. Postapocalyptic? Borderlands or Fallout. Yes I think post apocalyptic is over-used.
trying reading more before you write anymore. That was painful to read. Buying games is always a crapshoot. shooters will have a slightly similar theme... things have been done so many times, its hard to create something completely new and groundbreaking. So just take a chance like the rest of us, I guess. Sometimes you'll be disapointed, but that happens with movies and tv too. I guess with games it just hurts more cause they are $60 a piece as opposed to 10 to see a movie or free to watch tv.
Here's how I've experienced Reach: My most joyous moment was first getting it and putting it in the Xbox... and it went all downhill from there.. -First, I looked at forge and all the "new" objects. -I played and beat the campaign -I played firefight -I played matchmaking for a week or so -I forged some But then I realized it was the same ol' halo, just a different cd. Reach has become Halo 3 minus the classical settings/feel of it. I do, however, think Bungie could have changed it. I think they could have "copied" Halo 3's pallet, options, etc.. and added MORE. Instead of just changing it (while I do know some things had to be sacrificed like equipment). This could have preserved Halo 3's awesomeness and added on to it. But hey, I don't blame Bungie for what Halo has become. It happens with practically all series, and just life in general. People get sick and tired of things. I personally think they should have stopped with Halo ODST.
I think that if the unfortunantly impending Noble 2 map pack contains a perfect remake of Sandbox and Foundry, plus an arctic sandbox, all remaining classical in forge purposes, I will cry with tears of joy so hard that when you zoom in are actually other flamingos crying tears of joy, whose tears are other flamingos crying tears of joy. An endless cycle that will eventually destroy the earth as soon as the number hits infinity. But whose to say it will ever hit infinity? But it has to, sometime, because I've never heard the folowing number used, and frankly, I don't care to. 9463118394763755 (nighntyfourh-flafluckillion, four-hundred-and-sixtythree-trillion, one-hundred-and-eighteen-billion, three-hundred-and-ninetyfour-million, seven-hundred-and-sixtythree-thousand, seven-hundred-and-fiftyfive).
