Vegas 2. Looks like it could be game of the year for its Multiplayer. And its Singleplayer looks a real step up, especially since you can do it online like H3 and still keep the campaign'y feel.

    Mass Effect.
    End of line.

I own Mass Effect and I love it!
I would say that it's better that H3's campaign, easily.

How ever, as you probably already know, Mass Effect doesn't have any multi player!
So I guess it depends on what your into.

Even if your not an RPG fan (I'm not btw.) I love the action parts of that game.
There are many of those, let me tell you!

Some parts are really hard, but most are going to be easy to the common Halo 3 player.
I hope (that if you get it) that you'll enjoy it as much as I am right now!

    IMO I'd say Mass Effect.

I only say that because you know what you are getting with RSV2.. Mass Effect is a whole different style of game, with endless possibilities to explore.. RSV2, it's a strategy/shooter.. Sort of like the first one (Don't get me wrong, it's a bad ass game!) But if I was choosing between those 2.. I'd go Mass Effect.

Remember, Games just aren't about Multi-Player.. You should look at it's single player, The re-play value.. and the Fun-Factor.. At least that's what I do.

    This is a good point.
Unfortunately, Mass Effect's replay value is limited to becoming a new class of person, and saving the universe a different way (like being slightly evil instead of good).

However, the 'Fun-Factor' is off the charts for Mass Effect imo, as I said before, it's better then Halo 3's campaign.

Well, RB6V-2 ships out today and I pre-ordered the Limited edition.

Why not get Rainbow Six when it hits shelves, and barrow Mass Effect from a friend?

I still have my friend John's copy (although he wants it back just for a little bit because of the new DLC) it was worth just barrowing it than spending 60$ you could have used to buy RB6V-2.

But Mass Effect is awesome, and I also heard that RB6V-2 Campaign will be great also, better than the first ones.

You bring up a good point.. Why buy games when you can just use Gamefly and try out games without paying 60 bucks for them and having them suck.

    All Hail GAMEFLY!

I personally think that multiplayer and online capabilities are the ultimate replay value... things. So, in my opinion, I would get Vegas 2. You could just rent Mass Effect and still get a lot out of it. My brother beat the game in a few days. Mass Effect doesn't have much replay value either.

Well, depends what you're into. If you're an RPG guy, get Mass Effect. If you like FPS games, get Vegas 2.

rainbow six 2... mass effect was not that fun... + no online... mass effect is short and slightly boring... when u beat the game... its over... no more playing... it doesnt even prompt u to save like saints row (just an example)

rainbow six vegas 2 looks better
