    Thanks bruhbruh! Last 1v1 I tried making turned into a 4v4 haha so I ignored all signs of claustrophobia from my gut.

    Any particular area you think would benefit from expansion?

    Exactly like that but I almost always forge with another person so they are at the mercy of my procrastination and my "accidental" kills with an automatic fuel rod, and sometimes it happens to me and I get like 4 killballs launched at me.

    Fun fact that fire breathing **** is made out of 200 trashbags pieces, I have no regrets. As for Halo 6, I really do hope they get light up sketchers, that would make the game far better than anything anyone can imagine.

    I've always done that. Easily less than 10% of my time 'forging' is actually creating the level. Most of the time is spent doing as you suggest.

    That's not even the problem though.
    My little problem is that even though I understand which movements are possible, I have a terrible understanding of how they impact gameplay because I don't/won't play the game.
    My big problem is that I just don't like designing maps for the new movements. I can see how some people might look at it as a challenge. I just find it annoying and unenjoyable. I have a huge passion for designing Halo levels, which is why I've never gotten into using 'better' level editors. The game just plays too differently than it used to though, to the point that I don't enjoy designing for the current iteration.

    I know it's annoying listening to complaints about how terrible the game is all the time, so I'll drop it after this post.

    Sprint - make your map porous
    Thrust - shrink floorspace where you don't want people thrusting into hiding
    Clamber - railings, beveled ledges, and verticality
    Spartan Charge - can't do much except make it hard to Sprint
    Ground Pound - pretty much unavoidable if you have any verticality. ceilings and death pits don't do much

    The game's trash, and the people who complain about people who complain about how bad it is can go **** themselves.

    I can't tell you how many different areas of maps I've had to make ridiculously far apart from each other because I don't want people to thrust across the gap.

    So I need to design the kind of maps I don't like designing, to hate the gameplay slightly less than I do now. Sounds like a lose lose scenario to me.

    @Spranklz @Sethiroth sorry I had to bail last night. Real life is biting my friend to shreds right now so I had to leave without saying goodbye.

    Otherwise thanks for the feedback, I ended up cementing my changes in my head, just gotta put them to pixels

    Meh. Donut? You mean a map with circular flow on the vary bottom floor but has a tons of various height platforms and bridges that range from ground floor up to 52 feel of vertically. A map that if you ever drop down to the main floor, the only way back up is to go to the corners and fight back up like Damnation and Hang em High. Also all weapons are on main floor except one power-up that can be seen from a good portion of the map just like Hang em High and Damnation. A map that has no true corners to camp except the spawn cubbies that are place in the corners of the map and have ways to see into them from places of height advantage Kinda like Prisoner. Also because each area has something that counters that area, which incentivize the player to not sit still for long.....Yep its a Doughnut.


    @MultiLockOn - I am just ripping on you buddy, Just pulling your leg. :p. Though it really isnt a doughnut, that would imply that there was some sort of middle that was a no go zone like a doughnut hole. But its sure is a map with Circular flow to it.

    @icyhotspartin - ER MER GER. Nah that looks cool. I was going more NYC style. Plus mines playable LOL. Just messing with you
