I like the jumpy bits but am worried about the clamberable rock you have near the end there... Also seems rather.. large
I hope they go the COD route and remove splatters from multiplayer because of pressure from politicians and 24 hour cable against copycat isis attacks Oh but wait that would require CNN and co. to admit that those attacks are happening not just from schitzo-nazis Actually wait no they wouldn't have to admit that they're happening because they can totally use that as the only excuse Violent video games and loser white kids all over again goddamnit
Yes, the scale is rather large, but there are quick ways to mondo line of sight at the 4 corners of the map. I wanted to make the pistol harder to use lol. Also the top right part of the map can cover a huge amount of distance with a well placed ground pound (look paw, I turned another spartan ability into a movement mechanism!) Nay on climbing the mountain peaks huh? I bow to your will...
Map spam @ExTerrestr1al Beta version of 'Gorn', based on the Vasquez Rocks location from 'Arena' Playable for 1s and 2s Features crazy power ups and a ball that can be thrown like the one Kirk lobs at the Gorn https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/...tspartin_9ee18140-cf8b-4e2a-897c-9a2eeb4d07a8 --- Double Post Merged, Aug 24, 2017 --- I see I see interesting idea.. what weapons would replace it as pickups? I wouldn't necessarily get rid of the clamber but it could break the map if intended for 1s - see Sketched problem
I'm thinking a binary rifle in the high dunes/top tree bridge forest, a sword on the sword, scattershot in the building where the 3 bridges enter, and (of course) a damage boost by the UUUU place. Middle gets a single dmr to fight over
Looks interesting! It does kind of look like a 60s "outdoor" set. To further the asthetic, see if you can get a skybox to look like those outdoor episodes, where a pastel color was just painted on the sky or something. if it looks bad, you can tell people it was supposed to On the other Trek idea, feel free to block something together and let me know if/when you'd like me to grab a copy and I will play with it some.
yeah but but but they actually shot that episode on location i'll probably run through later this week with Alpine rocks and use lighting to color things the way it looks in the episode but yeah as far as the other one the pastel lights are gonna come in mega handy also I threw it together in 2 hours so gimme a break lol lemme know when it's testable, I want to figure it out for myself
You want me to link you brutha man? My work schedule is a **** storm this week so my time for awesome forging is cut waaaaay down and I'm worried I won't make it in time for the contest
Just played alpha niner in the breakout playlist and find my self once again questioning how it got 200 dollars.

Oh indeed, I especially find it's resue of tried and true generic three lane formula creative, and I to find having awkward engagments fun.
Oh and Remains is a ****ing joke. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 24, 2017 --- You're probably right, we all know the most uninspired three lanes demand the utmost tactical ingenuity and sweating off.
Looks like it is great movement all around that map, which was my main concern. that it was too open on the pathways, but I dont' think so now. But you need to fix this - there were a few rocks with no powerups on them! haha... and... what do you want that ball to actually do? I get that it's a neat set piece or prop, but do you want it to do anything? Unfortunately, the canons on my map CWRF map do not give kill credit to the person who fires it. It may not be possible to give the other player a point, FYI. Although in a 1v1 situation, we might be able to force the surviving player to get a point if another person gets killed by the ball (in a way other than holding it and melee'ing them)
