Me too until I started focusing on calisthenics. Something about achieving elite Bodyweight exercises like the 1 arm pull up from dead hang (and no not that bullshit where you hold your wrist with your other hand cause I can do like 20 of those) the planche, L sits to handstands, muscle ups and so on are much more satisfying than a 315 pound bench press or 405 squat. People who lift weights usually lack in their core and creates imbalances in being able to do some of these elite exercises. I was one of them. Calisthenics are a much better mind body connection for me. I can't even listen to music on some exercises because of the focus required. End of rant lol Also resistance bands are the best thing ever
Yeah I'm new to this and it started as a challenge at work. We all pitched in $50 to see who could lose the most weight in 3 months. I dieted for 1 month then started p90x3. So after 3 months of diet & 2 months of p90x3 I lost 35lbs and I'm still going. This Thursday is the last way in and these bitches are paying me. Any week you gained weight from the last week you had to pay $1 per pound. It started at $250 and now it's almost $300 lol. And yeah, I used resistance bands the whole time because screw buying a whole set of dumbells. I'm trying to win this money not blow it. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 14, 2017 --- Lol, I'm only 6'1" at 205lbs. I'm a whimp.
Nice man! Keep it up. This is where I got my resistance band inspiration. I stalk these 2 guys on YouTube and motivates me to get better and better. HIGHLY recommend people watch those Very inspiring
Good to see you kept at it. Some really cool geometry you have (especially the building with layered stairs). The concern I brought up with the blockout is still there, though. The LoS from base to base over the bridge is long, wide, flat, and directly connected. And you have another similar LoS off to the side of the bases. @Xandrith It's kind of a joke that you haven't been banned by now. Literally half the **** you say is pushing or breaking the rules, and when you finally do get banned, you go to Skype and cry to War. Grow the hell up. @A 3 Legged Goat Ive said what I had to say to you. I'm not interested in having a pointless 10 page long argument about it.
I hate working out. But this is what I do. I ride my bike 50 miles a week. I walk in the woods 5 miles a week. I do 700 push ups a week. I sometimes pick up my dumbells. I eat healthy and try not to drink too much alcohol. Wait which thread is this again?
Haha, what? Yes, of course I say something when I get banned for literally no reason. You're actually clueless about everything huh
That is good for me now! The rest of the map is heavily segmented, so I ended up keeping the middle portion a chaotic pit as well as a means to push a shoddy flag pull. I can inv you if I get the tests going on it tonight
P90X3 is only 30 minutes a day (but seriously intense), I just started adding the 15 minute ab workout 3 times a week too. Who doesn't have 30-45 minutes a day right? I also walk/run 3 miles one day a week. This all started after doing nothing ever and eating bowls of cereal right before bed time lol.
I did tons of stuff in the past. Different sports, gym, insanity, other cardio stuff, 7 minutes daily workouts etc. I just have zero fun in weights and such. Everything I do is also very chill and relaxing for me, not too intense. I'm also 6'1" and about 220 pounds. But my natural build is kinda broad shoulders so I'm somewhat overweight ofcourse but it doesn't show. But in the end I couldn't care less what people think anyway.
Maybe the second time is the charm. I made some major changes to the map I showed previously in order to diversify the layout and also incorporate a pendulum like I showed before. The map is still in "block out", or as block-outy a natural terrain intensive map can get. Load it up and give me thoughts. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/...Hyperion_936f99b9-ed29-4509-8472-73cebedae43d
