    I'm kind of out of the know on this stuff since I only play FFA Slayer but has anyone made an infection or team based map that has things like finding and equipping power sources to enable fabricators and or lights. The ability to find equipment that once installed repairs bunker/bases, and base defenses. or other items to enable equipment in bases. You could grab a key card to unlock one or multiple weapons boxes? The ability to destroy objects as a means of harvesting them for resources to be used on things like I listed above or to be turned into ammo either directly or indirectly. Basically the ability to use the environment as a resource to defend, enhance and in general greatly modify the map and it's gameplay.

    I was thinking it might be neat if there was a weapon fabricator that depending on the resource you used it would spit out a different variant of the weapon it manufactured. You could also make it so that resource could unlock a specific variant of any weapon at fabricators located around the map.

    I would assume that things like base enhancements could be disabled/destroyed. Basically anything that can be done can be undone by the opposing players.

    I was also imagining the impact something like this may have on a CTF map where a wall divided the teams, and there was enough variants with resources to quickly build moderately unique bases/weapons/defenses on either side of the map before the wall opened up the sides after a set period of time.

    I feel like I've been watching to many survival games.

    For now im just aiming for a very grimy ruin feel and dull glows. Maybe later ill incorporate something more but i feel pretty happy with what ive got going. Ill be open to feedback when i finish with the first art pass and make it visible for you guys to go through. It does feel a little bland in areas.

    Construct is getting the Wyvern touch so the pictures i showed are irrelevant now. We moved it to tidal and it wont be surrounded with rocks, will have less simple primitives, etc. I pretty much gave the map to her.

    Clash
    Combined Arms (those with vehicles)
    Zone Control
    Elimination
    Skirmish
    Salvage
    Doubles
    Rift
    Supremacy
    Mayhem
    Rumble

    That's almost twice the gametypes in Halo 5. Control had the most consistent population, and most people disliked Rift and Salvage. Combined Arms isn't really a different gametype, but it was treated as such.

    For reference, Halo 5 has (officially supported):

    Slayer
    Strongholds
    CTF
    Assault
    Breakout
    Oddball
    SWAT

    And then Warzone. Unless you want to count stuff like Snipers and Fiesta, or King of the Hill (which isn't online AFAIK) or Extermination.

    Clash - 2
    Combined Arms (those with vehicles) - this isn't a gametype it's just adding vehicles lol
    Zone Control - it's just control without points for kills, it's the same thing.
    Elimination - 1 life clash?
    Skirmish - clash with revives

    Salvage - 3, Ok I forgot about this
    Doubles -No lol
    Rift - 4, Yup
    Supremacy - Idk what this is
    Mayhem - It's just clash with fast recharging supers
    Rumble - FFA clash


    Okay so we have 4 if Supremacy is actually a different gametype

    Sure, "Clash" is their word for Deathmatch, but all of those things have nuances.

    Skirmish is 3v3 with revives and Clash is 6v6 without revives. But for Destiny 2, the distinction isn't really relevant considering that there's only one player count.

    Supremacy is kill confirmed.

    Mayhem has different scoring and different ammo timers than normal Clash.

    In the context of the other playlists, Control was the most populated.
