There's no question it's an excellent OS, but I set up manual update times and it still did it by itself. The computer itself is 10 years old, and the battery is ****ed beyond all repair, so I had to sit with it for an hour in the corner of someone else's lecture while it cooled off. Had to leave, and the battery died, and then the thing claimed it had no bootable device. Next morning it's fine.

Yes, the quality of the map doesn't change depending on who's name is under it. It would be the same no matter what. You'd still be a thief because you're stealing something you didn't make. Its not the idea, its the fact that he took it word for word and made it look like it was his own. He didnt even put the effort into changing a few of the words lmao you know he is in the wrong on this one yet you are only defending him because he is your friend.

No, I'm defending him because it doesn't matter that it's word for word because he was stating basic truths. How many different ways can you phase the sentence "Single motherhood in the black community is at 70%". It literally has no bearing who's mouth it comes from, that's why they're facts. The best apologists in the world are the ones who know how to verbalize their arguments in a way that everyone understands, not the ones who use complexities. Ben is very good verbalizing his arguments so why should it matter if xandrith transposes them word for word? He didn't just link the video or put it in quotes for the EXACT reason of what's happening now. You have NO response to what was actually said or rebuttal so you're derailing the conversation into attacking him for reasons that quite literally have no bearing on the merit of what was said. This is what he was trying to avoid yet here you are with another ridiculous red herring. 1) The fact that I didn't bother to re-word the argument only shows that I didn't care about passing it off as my own. I don't care about anything but what is provable and non-provable in a discussion like this. 2) Ben encourages people to use his very specific arguments. The topic of a ton of his presentations are to equip people with facts and straightforward logic to dismantle misconceptions like the ridiculous claim that being black is an inherent disadvantage in America due to racism. 3) Ad-hominem has never persuaded anybody ever.

It probably will, HP are the Nokia of laptops - my mom had the original Pavilion for like 13-14 years, and this one is still kicking away after about 10 years of abuse.
