you mad bro? I never said it was a negative for consoles. I was just pointing out the fact that beautiful 60FPS games on console do exist. Its ignorant to ignore the fact that some game studios are doing an excellent job not compromising their games potential and keeping them running around 60fps. To be honest I dont actual care too much about frames per second if the game itself is soild. That's first and foremost to me.
Framerate is more significant to an enjoyable, and comfortable playing experience than resolution is. Playing a game at 720p 60 fps is better than playing 4k at sub 30 fps. Your still frames will look better with high resolution, but that doesn't matter when the game plays like a slideshow. You can still have beautiful games that aren't super high res, if you account for a good artistic design and framerate. Another thing to note is that framerate not only ties into visuals, but also gameplay, as a 30fps game will only process actions at that rate, whereas a 60fps one will process them twice as fast. This is part of the reason pro CS players play with super low visual settings in order to get the highest fps they can. So, while I recognise that you have a right to an opinion, Goat, but given that it is a stupid ass opinion, I've elected to ignore it.
Speaking of disappointing frame rates, why does the new Zelda play better on a 3+ old console than my newly purchased Switch... I mean I bought it knowing it wouldnt handle Xbox/PS4/PC level games but I thought it would at least match Wii U...
Blackbelly on any mode, especially Splat Zones is real bad. Same with Mahi and Ancho-V. Or whenever there's more than one Bomb Rush going on within close proximity to each other.
Its only 900 on docked mode, which is why the game performs better in handheld mode where it goes down to 720, if I'm remembering correctly on the numbers. I cant fully remember if it is 900 to 720 or 1080 to 900, but it does go down in res when not docked.
At any rate, I'm just holding on to the fact the game was developed for the Wii U primarily. Honestly, the game is amazing and for sure lives up to the hype. It's kind of making me want to go into game design haha
Nobody said 60fps isn't ideal for shooters? And nobody said they had to be mutually exclusive. But otay I'll put you back on my ignore list since I've never seen you not be a twat.
I don't care either but bringing up a lower framerate as a negative is retarded. The game dips in campaign and you know this is video is over a year old
