Nobody can flex like me. @Erupt just because you are really good at three characters it doesn't count and those three characters are arguably the three most OP characters in the game.
On topic: I believe I have figured out how to make a 3 lane work in Extermination. Also, I think I am going to bring Dracula back.
Long time lurker deciding to finally attempt to make a map and would love some feedback. Map is for Extermination and it fairly simple. Too simple I'm afraid to admit. Two opposing ledges leading into a central cave. I've been trying to figure out how I can evolve this map to more of my liking. In other words, tear this map a new one.
So I'll just show what i threw together in a few hours. a 1v1(of course) map that is actually a donut. moves clockwise upwards with pickups being there on the way. The blue transparent areas are water that will have a trait to slow you down. and the big pool you can go under and it will act you're submerged, move slower, and low gravit. like real life. there's two teles that I didnt put in the sketchup yet, and im still thinking on better spots for them. The theme is going to be an underwater building, but not so much like Bioshock. Sketchup might be hard to see everthing. oh well

Currently sitting at 688 objects. Geometry is basically done, just gonna start detailing, coloring, and texturing more objects how I want them. Trying to refrain from making every piece have the forerunner texture, it looks surprisingly good, but I don't want a monochromatic map. Still gotta actually set it up for Extermination as well. Gotta do lighting as well. I think I just like to list the things I need to do to make me actually do them.
I'm having a hard time telling from the overhead, but it doesn't look like there's much height variation. That's something you'll want to change. You don't need to add overlapping levels or anything, but undulating terrain and rocks would be a good next step. I'd also add at least one more route from the initial spawn location into the center. Looking at the picture of your 'Spawn ledge', you should be able to add a route off to either the left or the right. Make it connect into the center cave at a different elevation than the entrance shown in the picture. --- Double Post Merged, Feb 8, 2017 --- I need to win the lottery.
