That moment you lose a good portion of your block out because someone decided forge has to be online all the time. **** me.
I'm so ****ing done right now. At this point almost all of my gametypes have been destroyed by the custom gametype settings bug. Some of them aren't even the right base anymore, so I would have to delete it and make a new one so everyone's bookmarks would break.

I thought the while deal for making a light dynamic was that it was supposed to create shadows on the fly, thus requiring more processing. Or something. Or are dynamic lights about producing light (not shadows), particularly if the light moves? Do dynamic lights cast any shadows? Like for players or vehicles or other objects or situations? Objects without Light Baking? I noticed in Forge mode that objects with Light Baking On seemed to temporarily cast shadows on themselves if you move the object down a little. Until the lighting gets regenerated. Made me think that those shadows might be generated before the start of the game or Forge session. Or maybe saved with the file, though I assume not. Could use a chart that covers the possible lighting and shadow configurations. What are the variables? Light source/type: light box, static, dynamic? Reflected light source? Objects/settings that block light Objects/settings that cast shadows Objects/settings that display shadows Affected by changes (moved, despawned, additional sources added, after start) It seems like objects that reflect light can become a light source for the nearby area, but maybe I'm misinterpreting that. I think there's a difference between blocking light and casting shadows since light goes thru objects. ****, just listing all the sources/types of light, the things that block it, and maybe a list of whatever produces shadows would help me and maybe a bunch of people. Old blue side New blue side Kuroda and Vyctoriouz always told me they weren't completely happy with how blue side came out, but they didn't have many options with Halo 3 forge's budget restraints. This is my spin on blue side. I've tried to maintain the same functional pathing of the original while spicing the area as a combat space up a bit.
