What do you want from me? I only have so much brain power at the best of times, let alone half concious after a couple hours of sleep at 4:30 in the morning. I almost fell back asleep during reboot.
If you care about the success of forge maps In MM please give this thread a read, like and comment. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/...f068-4f72-9630-8432734bc61f/posts?page=1#menu
I read the post, is the idea to have that playlist replace another playlist or have it's own playlist next to BTB and Warzone?
I usually just want you to take the blame for me when I'm extra super stupid. Hahahahaha you're right, @Preacher001, it totally looks like there's a butt in @A 3 Legged Goat 's name and now I can't unsee it!!! But why tell me in a private message? Is it a secret? ----- Back to WAYWO: I'm trying to think of ways to use Game Mode Settings to alter how a map works or is configured. The idea is to be able to set up a map to play in different ways within any of the major game modes. We can add Game Mode Labels to objects and then test whether they spawn for that mode, but how about having our map change itself based on some other input in the Game Settings? Possible uses? Heavies variant for a BTB map Switch between weapons themes; human/covey/4run Switch the red and blue sides Cheating, confusion, or something that sounds like a better diabolical idea since I'm phoning this one in Things we might be able to use: Grenade settings: Set the number players can carry higher than the starting number or don't allow players to have any. Then set one grenade (with a script to detect it despawn) so that a player will have to pick it up (or not) at the start of the game. That could give us up to 3 on/off options or 8 combined options. Whatever those place X type of Objects on map settings are. Grenades, vehicles, weapons? Gravity settings? Do those affect objects too? Invulnerable/shield/health/resistance settings: use a running start on the initial spawn object settings and make players run through fire FX or explosions or something at game start. Indestructible vehicles + explosions/FX/damage scripts I haven't even started working on it, but if anyone wants to test and make a thread and save me from having to start or actually do anything... then I am utterly powerless to stop you. If you read "That could give us up to butt on/off options" above, you win.
It's a good idea but i don't see them adding the REQ terminals into Forge, let alone a competing playlist for their primary cash cow for the game. And it's not that this wouldn't make them more money, but it's not "Warzone" and therefore pulls away from their branding. That's my opinion on it though. I think it's a different case than Super Fiesta. As an aside, it still blows my mind that people actually spend money on REQs when you don't even know what you're going to get and you can only use them once - in Warzone. Granted, more people might actually buy them if you could use them in a setting like this BTB playlist instead - something less hectic which guarantees you'd hold on it longer - but I don't see it taking off this late in the game.
What uppp... is this where the cool kids hang out? Am downloading Halo 5 Forge for PC... Anybody forge on PC and use discord or something?
NOOOOCH! It's been a minute. There are a few who do forge on PC, because of PC compatibility issues. There is a Discord server for FH here ->https://discord.gg/8ctr3aJ Here's another thread as well for you http://www.forgehub.com/threads/halo-5-pc-customs-megathread.153829/#post-1661310 Good to see you man!
I need opinions. Does it look better without a filter or with enhanced on? I feel like no filter looks more like the original map, but I like the look of enhanced on Alpine.
The first one is probably better because of the drizzling weather it had on Reach. The second one looks a bit too 'warm' imo. Nice going btw.
Oh it's definitely Overlook haha. My bad, I worded that weird. When I do remakes I usually like to "remix" the aesthetic a bit. So initially, I wanted to create Overlook but with Powerhouse's "autumn" feel. I wanted to do this because Overlook is a farm, and I've always liked the look of farm land in fall. But my girlfriend likes the green terrain/cloudy theme better so, I need some feedback
Ok no problem. But if you want an Overlook with a Powerhouse/autumn feel just go for it. I think it will look great. But for nailing the Overlook atmosphere the first one is slightly better.
I prefer the 2nd one personally, it looks more Reach like. I like the enhanced filter a lot though, it does a great job at making terrain look fall like.
