@Rabid Hogs put his crazy Flood aesthetics from his Infestation map to work on the High Charity Grifball court, and came up with this. It was so cool seeing something I worked on, but in a whole new light and feel. We'll be getting it all polished up and up to Grifball standards, and I think there's a couple new tricks out there that could help out...
Saltys map is so big it doesn't need to be posted on forgehub because it's already world wide. Saltys map is so big 343 designed the Halo 5 sniper around it. Saltys map is so big that even Squally couldn't defend it.

I've gotta test this one still and try to get the weapon layout all squared away. Also, I thought this would be a fun theme for a BTB map.
Bad news.... My maps so big, Using a massive rockwall to blot out the sun doesn't work. Time to lower the hole map and than probably still get wrecked
Apparently there are very strange lighting zones towards the top of the alpine canvas... Grrrr. Thinking I'm goons have to strip all my set pieces out. Group the map by section (hooray for tiny angle shifts!) Drag it out towards the water, lower and rotate the entire thing so the back of my buildings hit the sun not the front and hopefully lowering it will get it out of that strange light zone... Than possibly use the water as a sewer zone in under lot. Its a lot of work, will delay the project for sure, but a labor of love. I'll make the best of it.
Wish we'd get the 3D grass on terrain pieces... Or at least the option. I know it's harder on the engine but still. Terrain looks so dead without it.
Gotta spice it up with rocks... even just clusters of little ones make a difference. Also, you could try lowering trees 90% of the way into the ground and make some bush-like things.
Took a look at that project to begin testing with, I noticed slight FR drops but easily fixed (excessive lighting). Weapon layout could use a change as well. Will bring that project forward to war, duck and fated if i can.
