Custom games browser Cross play and https://forge.halocrea.com/ + MLGforum and map archives bound to be on somebody's fileshare. Looking forward to discovering lost maps and new ones. Hope to see Blaze still work on Halo.
Made this awhile ago just really never pushed it out into the world. 1 flag CTF was in mind when making it. Bit of Zanibar inspiration in flow. Map: Site Yankee-004-F4 wip2
Does anyone know where I can find a current list of the H5 forged maps that are active in the official playlist? Same old same old. A lot of, "Halo sucks" often followed by "hey check out my new WIP" or "latest map" a few "free Schnitz", a bunch of pointless banter, bitching and burns, and people saying goodbye forever only to secretly creep the waywo. Yah we know you wankers are still out there. Oh and they announced this new game called Halo: Infinite. It's supposed to revolutionize the way we ***** about Halo. They say we'll have the opportunity to hone those skills over the next decade. No need to wait for the game to come out, we've already started. Come join us here at Forgehub.
I really hope 343 has been taking notes because I want to see something akin to this decal system make its way into Forge. Starts at the 6 minute mark.
This is an EPIC POST! And I was called over by the scent of Halo Infinite: "We promise we are making a Halo game this time" version.
I don't know if it'll be a great Halo title, especially with this - 10 year expand the existing open world game concept. To me it sounds like the death of cut scenes after the initial launch. I'm not looking for a Halo version of Destiny. My biggest gripe with Destiny is the lack of a strong story. Sure they have a great sandbox and so does Halo but Halo's original campaigns had a strong direction and proper story that relied heavily on environmental cues. I'm not confident that will be the case in Halo's new open world, especially in regards to future content. There is one thing that I've been thinking about that may be extremely promising. Is it possible that the new Forge will actually have access to the entire ring? That would be epic. If they make the Forge a more fully realized editor with access to the majority of the games assets, things start getting interesting. If dreams do come true and they managed all that and offered the AI that everyone has been begging years for we may even be able to make the campaign that we wanted in the first place. 10 years is a long time to invest in a sandbox and if 343 puts in the time like we have seen in Microsoft's other IP's, Sea of Thieves and Minecraft, even a subpar launch could be rectified. I dunno. My faith was definitely shaken after that demo. Welcome back, and make sure you stick around until we find out what Forge has later this month.
I would guess this was because of the concerns that came out from the last demo. ----------------------------------------------------- source: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/halo-infinite-development-update Today I want to share an important Halo Infinite development update with the community. We have made the difficult decision to shift our release to 2021 to ensure the team has adequate time to deliver a Halo game experience that meets our vision. The decision to shift our release is the result of multiple factors that have contributed to development challenges, including the ongoing COVID-related impacts affecting us all this year. I want to acknowledge the hard work from our team at 343 Industries, who have remained committed to making a great game and finding solutions to development challenges. However, it is not sustainable for the well-being of our team or the overall success of the game to ship it this holiday. We know this will be disappointing to many of you and we all share in that sentiment. The passion and support the community has shown over the years has been incredible and inspiring. We wanted nothing more than to play our game with the community this holiday. The extra time will let us finish the critical work necessary to deliver the most ambitious Halo game ever at the quality we know our fans expect. Thank you for your support and understanding.
