I like the eerie look of this but I'm surprised you were so heavy handed with the cobblestone. Is it just a lack of any similar textures?
Not really set on the textures yet. I just really like the way the dim lights reflect on the stone. Art on this one still has quite a bit of work. I mainly posted this for gameplay/weapon set feedback.
Ah. I wouldn't mind seeing what you could do with a little concrete, wood or marble. Wish I could offer some advice on the other stuff but my playstyle is totally different.
Soon, I will be eliciting people to place "Tag N Bag" onto a copy of their map (or if you have budget, on your main copy) as part of a pseudo-contest for getting placed on my map-pack page (Maps section) so that players around the larger Halo community can easily find all maps that are at least half-way decent and have it installed properly, etc. A youtube video showcasing some maps is also a likely thing... So, no money, and not necessarily any limit to the number of "winners". Can be maps that have been published for years, or whatever... just a heads up, y'all! (uses mini-game only labels, so won't affect any functionality in other modes, as long as you don't already have mini-game stuff on your map) You should be prepared for making room for 64 objects and a bunch of scripts and some Fx budget, FYI. Any interest? If not, play the mode and let me know I tested it on @Ryley 's map "Elysic" but that was just so I could see how well it works on forged maps. I'd like the original authors of some great maps to see if this plays well on their personal copies and of course, get credit for the maps, rather than merely grabbing them and dropping **** onto them, ya know?
Messing with some art assets from one of LargerFiend's maps I found that was visible. Hope you're cool with that! p.s. sorry for the image quality
I think this sold me on MW, i usually only played past cods for the multiplayer but now im interested in the single player
Funny, it made me less certain I'd want to buy it. I always balk when writers try to "add humanity" to a character who's already been established in a complete work of fiction. Particularly because when writers say they want to bring "humanity" to a character, they typically mean "we are going to take this person and morally compromise them somehow", rather than provide the character with a challenging choice, a consistent arc and a fitting finale.
Yes, but because Activision has pushed into the Space Shooter market so much, they have alienated their core fans - and since everything old is new again, there's a great opportunity to draw those fans back in. MW Remastered was a kite for this. All the audio cues, a lot of emblems, UI design, color choices in the menu, the locations in this new one are all inspired or lifted from MW and MW2. It's basically MW2.5 with Battlefield elements.
Because only gods can keep up with the amount of potential entries and directions you can be shot from at any given time.
