Something about post-modern and sci-fi human/industrial maps bothers me though. I think it's because it's so easy to add a bunch of pointless detail to "make the map look good", and if you opt for a cleaner look, someone who is used to a bunch of pointless detail is going to think it's "too simple" Most of the sounds and effects are built for the human stuff though, so technically they can come alive more than any other map.
I like this except for the cinema and hotel signs. I hate when people turn them upside down and think it can pull off some neo-future language.
When your map comes up in the playlist I just keep my AR out and charge people who rush the railgun, then proceed to get handed kills.
Speed Boost is lowkey the way to go on Dreamscape. Intentionally under appreciated. Rail is there with the full expectation that the average player is gonna throw their body at the nearest power weapon.
Speed boost does nothing lol the only utility I've ever gotten out of it was double meleeing people in 1v1s
