The Blair Witch Project is the scariest movie I've ever seen. I was 16 or so, parents away for 3 weeks and when my friends left that night I watched it alone and I felt pretty uncomfortable when I ran upstairs to sleep lol. I understand the people who hated that film for whatever reason but when you were pulled in like intended, it's really scary.
There was defiantly a sweet spot in movies around this time. It was at the peak of movie magic before CGI kind of took over the special effects department of movie making.
Spoiler problem with the ending was they dont show anything eith the aliens in the other parts of the world - the brother just tells you it’s over. And then when the last alien is there, that moment is interrupted with a flashback.”
Xandrith I know It may be difficult, but I need you to point to the place on the doll that Mel Gibson touched you.
Yep, also scary lol. No joke, I don’t recommend it to anyone. Also, @MULLERTJE I was in 6th grade when I saw the Blair witch project and it wasn’t scary to me at all... I guess I wasn’t old enough to be pulled in as intended. I remember thinking it was pretty real at 1st and then as it went on kinda being corny but that was a loooong time ago lol.
@SaltyKoala I had no idea what hermeticism was, I’ve been researching it all day and it’s roots in Destiny. This is fascinating. I love the Destiny lore community, but it seems like not many people have made the connection.
Speaking of horror stuff, The Thing has to be one of my favorite movies. I recommend John Carpenter films in general though.
I was just gonna list my old and new favorites. Old... The Thing The Fly The Shining New...(So many overrated Horror movies these days.) Hereditary Gerald's Game (Netflix) Upgrade(Sci-Fi/Horror)
Feels good to know I inspired some further exploration into the subject, that's exactly what I Intended to do when I posted those images. Symbology is a fascination of mine, there is so much to be learned about this world through it. Rather crazy that most people haven't made the connection wouldn't you say? Its odd to me lore fans and regular fans alike have almost zero knowledge of its connection to hermeticism, or the fact it uses hermetic symbols at all. It makes sense tho, most people dont look at stuff as deeply as they should. For the sake of some thought provoking discussion lets use this key as way to compare Destiny and America. Central Banking Elites=Activison American Founding Elite and Current Elite=Bungie America=Destiny America's citizens= Destiny fans and players Most fans and players have no idea that in Destiny, Bungie purposefully uses architecture and symbols that have "secret"(esoteric) meanings with there roots in Hermeticism(Occultism). See what I did there? That parallel is important because I feel there is a far too vast majority of American's who are asleep to the real meaning of architecture and symbols they see around them on a daily basis.
2nd riddle... well not really a riddle. question for only those who are leet enough to know the answer... what is the best possible use of the stone texture in halo 5?
