Apparently this was the park manager and the kid was previously found throwing rocks at cars and when they told the kid to leave the park this happened.
Jeez loved the uber fake overreaction by that little psycho. Guy did it well, you should defend yourself even against young escaped weirdos. First of all I would walk away at first, kid is obviously not well. If I really needed to go in his direction. I would've probably ask him to leave at a voice that would scare him off. If that really doesn't help just bring him to the ground easy, before the punches I mean. Let him scream bloody murder I don't care, like fixating (securing) an autistic child. It happens and people think you're a brute but just explain the situation. Then pinch him in the cheeks, put your wet fingers in his ear and poke him in the eye till help arrives.
Also to play the kid game, I'd obviously (after many failed attempts with words) go for some sort of restraint. The smaller the appendage you grab, the less flak you'll get if it breaks. My favorite is the nose. Edit: any bodily fluid you can excrete is also a very useful deterrent
Midnight Shower Thoughts~~~ Is it illegal to taze children, and if so, why? Do energy efficient solar panels and windmills need to become a standard of living? Which do you put in the bowl first: the milk, the cereal, or the devils lettuce? What the hell do siblings that are pangender and osmotosopian call each other?
the child has obviously been subjected to some **** old man would have been better off not tossing him B U T kid doesn't seem to respond to de-escalation or reason how do you deal with this kind of behavior without knowing the kid's history? where are the parents? what are they teaching the kid? I have had to break up fights between troubled 12 year old kids before, not an easy task guy shoulda grabbed him by the collar and held him or something this is why there ought to be some kind of hand-to-hand combat training in every child's education **** that social studies garbage
Tbh Why does it matter the kids history if he's acting like that. He needed a nice kick to the throat that's all
Teaching self defense comes with a lot of discipline, which actually makes it less likely for the kid to start random fights. Learning any Martial art, even purely defensive ones, are almost as much about training your attitude and character as anything else. The meek shall inherit the earth.
Kid either has a troubled childhood and/or soft parents. Kids need to be taught at toddler level that life is a challenge, and you shouldn't take everything for granted. I don't have much patience for such things, so I probably would have spanked his ass with the fury of a thousand suns until my hand goes numb.
Obviously and absolutely. I will never disagree with that. But you can't force kids to discipline themselves to that kind of level. He kinda sounded like an 'hand to hand anti bullying gymclass' which I think is not a good way to keep kids from fighting. Kids shouldn't have to worry about those things at all. Kids fight sometimes, but they should join those martial arts for fun, self esteem, sport whatever. Not the fear of assault.
