whatever. posting here just takes the fun out of forging. it's a de-stresser to do artful design at the end of the day. but it looks like i cannot share anything without the expectation of it being "finished or released". all that does is make it a stressful grind, and i'm not sure why i continue to entertain it.

Is this when I say it actually looks worth a shot and I somewhat commend them for trying something new without doing something as drastic as exo-movement?
what about heroes or battle royal is new? I commend them for the "guns up" philosophy and the fixed spray patterns, but the game is far from innovative
*new to CoD If it's fun, it's fun. I was mostly referring to mechanics however. - Stimpack system - Health buff - "Control" (Game Mode) - BOTG + BO3 sliding - Predictable recoil - Seemingly less obnoxious Supers - 1 Specialist type per team - Team abilities - New obj. point reward system - Gun-specific Primary Gunfighter attachments - Other returning stuff like Pick 10, AC-130, Attack Dogs, etc. Maps still look boring as ****, but that was a given. If BR works then cool another thing to play, it looked pretty fun in CoD Online so it might not feel too forced. Zombies, though. Oh boy I might already be sold. Not even going to get into everything that was announced but it all sounds amazing. Can't wait to see what else gets revealed later on, as it stands there's a **** ton of stuff to work with already.

This ones gonna be better - same title, far simpler layout. Not going for a hat trick on art performance and gameplay, going for great art, good gameplay, and solid performance —

No that's Seaside, made by the former design lead (I forget his name at the moment). It WAS set in Spain last I checked but it looked like they might've repurposed some assets to fit there and give it that sandy desert look. I recognize those textures lol. Literally the first cutscene when they storm that chapel looking building.....my assets. From my map.
believe me i'm tired of empty promises lol. it's frustrating looking at a catalog of maps that i know people will enjoy and being unable to share them, but i don't want to put out something that doesn't convey the emotion i need it to. when you step on my map, i want to put a big stupid grin on your face, and i can't do that until i can look at it and say "yea, i learned a lot making this and i wouldn't do anything different with what i am sharing." i don't remember the last time i felt that way, but i remember it being a damn good feeling.
How have you ever forged in previous games? I mean even with it's limitations H5 forge is miles ahead of older editions imo. More options should make it easier for you to realize your vision, not harder. Even with all the lighting crap, budget and framerate you have to deal with.
