Yup I know, but what is free time? I can skip through vids on YouTube and just find the more interesting stuff. I'm still finishing Prey, with the free time I do have.
Making a BTB map with the goal of being made up of mostly normal physics objects. GET READY FOR THE POWERPOINT BOYS.
That is pretty cool looking, but if is really easy to collapse the buildings id be worried about structures being pointless because people will just collapse them right away, especially in BTB. Anything that goes boom or collapses will take 100% of the players attention if hosted in the customs browser and they will focus far more on collapsing stuff over playing. It is really cool nonetheless, it would be really cool for a holdout based game.
first footage of crackdown 3 halo 6 beta in action but for real, I was hoping to do something similar for a 2v2 map, where one of the structures is collapsable at certain stress points - my tests show that having the anchoring structure remain intact is the best way to manage the destruction so that the above comment (total collapse and attention sink) does not happen
Clever word play. I believe that it was shown in their advertising demos before then. It could be that they both thought about it at the same time. But the dishonored one was a bit more in depth imo
Re. Collapsibility When you try to load a prefab but it's not welded properly and set to normal physics https://www.google.com/amp/www.nyda...days-collapse-article-1.3876679?source=images edit: didn't see this unfortunate timing
@MultiLockOn You're a fan of Sean Schemmel's Goku in Dragonball, right? Here's a bit of his early work
It's insanely detailed which makes it very diffucult. I've wrote down 70 things I want to incorporate lol. Ambitious is a huge understatement.
For the past couple days Ive been considering doing "Legacy Features" of H2A maps that were feature worthy during a trying time for features. Any of ya'll got suggestions of maps that maybe missed the limelight?
Can someone smart make an argument about why the building aspect in fortnite is super gay? It's so gay I can't even be bothered to figure out why. This isn't a joke post btw. I'm being sincere.
Building spam. Almost every mid-long range engagement either ends with a single sniper shot to the head or becomes a tower defense game. There's plenty of ways to trap enemies in the game using building, but that requires your enemy to either be stupid or impatient beyond comprehension.
So I'm trying the chromabox for the first time. I know how it works but are there any general rules or tips and tricks you guys want to share? (Besides lightbake off and lighting by hand ofcourse.) And yes I'm using black emissive floors
