It actualy ruins the authenticity of the experience when you see kids running around at high speeds with hot pink weed camo demon armor The emotes are also really childish
I don't really care about customization since Reach. I just meant they look badass, have great designs and options. What people do with those options is always up for debate. And I don't give a **** about emotes either. But for me those things don't ruin anything. Flaming helmets, Hayabusa or Inclement weather didn't ruin Halo. I like when they take things not too serious. DOOM is perfect for that, it's colourful, arcade like action.
I understand, but i hate it when i would be playing a match on argent moon the most beauuuutiful map i have ever seen in my life and some neon green buzz lightyear runs past me
Especially DOOM III was much more 'realistic' and dark. And more scary. But I really like this new style.
Now if they'd just get rid of classes in the game, and spawn everyone with the burst rifle and get rid of demons.
I played the first mission on Titanfall 2. In the game they made it a feature to take batteries out of Titans when you jump on them. Your Titan needs a battery to power it up so you can use it. Why on Earth did they not take the opportunity to have the player attempt to steal it from an active enemy Titan? I saw that they missed the potential for that awesomeness to happen and they didn't. Put down the game. Still haven't finished it.
They wanted to introduce the player to the movement mechanics first, I suppose. It was a missed opportunity that there was no Titan boss you had to fight on foot.
I watched the rest of it on YouTube. The only thing that really intrigued me was the time travel mechanic. But that was already done in Dishonored 2. The thing I wanted a lot more out of Titanfall was Pilot v Titan fights and there isn't nearly enough of that. The Titan is the perfect setup as a boss battle. Titan v Titan and Pilot v Pilot just gets boring to me.
